INTRODUCTION: Tired is a feeling of ”fatigue”, is a state when a person is physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted. In other words it can be introduced as a state with low level of energy, reduced motivation, and difficulty in concentration.
There can be many reasons behind fatigue and tiredness. I will try to mention some of these as under:
- Deficiency of vitamin B12 and vitamin D: We can get vitamin B12 and vitamin D from different food items and supplements meant for this purpose. Foods rich in” vitamin B12” are Eggs, Dairy products, Meat, Fish , Animal liver and kidneys . Foods rich in” vitamin D”are Fatty fish ,Cod liver oil, Mushrooms, Egg yolk, fortified foods such as orange juice, dairy products, cereals, and plant based milks, Cheese. In addition to these foods, Sunlight is a great source of vitamin D.
- Obesity: Excess fat in the body leads to obesity, it causes more load on your heart and other body organs.
- Poor lifestyle: poor lifestyle is nothing but a pattern of unhealthy habits that can negatively impact your physical, mental and emotional well being.
- Night shifts: Night shifts can disturb the overall system of the body by disruptions in the body’s natural ”circadian rhythm” which is the internal clock that regulates sleep-wake cycles.
- Food we eat: The food we eat affects the overall health of the body. There are two type of foods ”Live food” and ”Dead food”. Live food can be fruits, vegetables, whole grains Whereas Dead food can be chips, biscuits, pizza , coke etc.
- Mental exhaustion: Overthinking, depression, tension leads to mental exhaustion.
- Screen time: It becomes a common practice now a days. It also slow downs the energy level of the body.
- Caffeine: Too much caffeine intake also depreciate the energy level .It just gives energy for a short period of time .
- Nutrient Deficiencies: Taking unbalanced diet is one of the major factor in energy exhaustion.
NOW THERE ARE MANY SOLUTIONS TO THIS PROBLEM OF ”FATIGUE” AND TIREDNESS. THESE CAN BE AS FOLLOWS:
- Early morning sunlight: When we take early morning sunlight for 10-20 minutes ,it will release ”Serotonin” in our body, which is a” happy neurotransmitter” .It gives us a happy feeling and the energy level automatically increases.
- Adequate Sleep: Sound sleep for about 7-8 hours boosts the energy level at the peak. so take it everyday to boost yourself.
- Hydration: Drinking adequate amount of water everyday keeps our body more energetic ,It is like a fuel for the engine to run. so add minimum of 8-10 glasses of water on daily basis.
Oxygen: Do more exercise, walk, Deep breathing or whatever you like but make sure to move your body daily, because movement results in adequate supply of oxygen to every cell in the body which will result in more energy. Moreover it increases the blood supply in the body. Balanced diet: Try to take a good chunk of food in your everyday meals . Try to avoid junk, packed food.
CONCLUSION: I would like to conclude on the basis of my experience that try to add adequate amount of carbs, vitamins and minerals in your daily diet. Take a good sleep.
THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR WHICH I FEEL IS TRY TO BE HAPPY ALL THE TIME, BECAUSE THIS IS THE BEST SUBSTITUTE TO MAKE YOUR BODY ENERGETIC ALL THE TIME!
