MMMS MODEL: It stands for meal, movement, mind stuff , and sleep. let’s elaborate the concept of ”MMMS”.
- MEAL: It means what you eat, when you eat and How you eat. Your eating window should be between 6-8 hours. Take two meals everyday .It contains less carbs, little more proteins and maximum fiber. Eat more plant based food (vegetarians). Eat more fish and egg (non- vegetarian) . Now you might come up with the question that why plant based food for vegetarians ,because our gut contains 30-70 trillion of bacteria which makes us healthy called” second mind of a person” .Plant based food has the maximum amount of this bacteria . On the other hand, Fish contains” omega 3 fatty acids” which are good for human heart.
- TIP FOR THE ABOVE CONCEPT: Stop eating anything at least 5 hours before going to the bed because ,a) It helps your body to digest the whole food. b) Liver needs 5-6 hours of rest to get ready for the next day.
- MOVEMENT: Movement is essential for body fitness. In order to reduce the level of tension, depression anxiety it is must a routine. Follow” F A R B” ! F stands for flexibility, A stands for aerobics, R stands for resistance training, B stands for balance. ” Do exercise on daily basis to make your body more flexible , Aerobic exercise is beneficial for cardiovascular health( your heart and blood vessels), mental well being and endurance. Resistance Training helps to improve bone density, boosted metabolism, and enhance mental health. Balance maintaince is must as we grow older almost above 40 years of age our body starts losing its balance.
